[link]I just wanted to play around with style, shadow and color, and ended up drawing an overly patriotic picture of Agent 250.
Most of the characters in the Niels comics are Americans (Except Niels, 300, Rose, and Magnus of course), but 250 is by far the most
American American out of all of them, and in many ways he is what the media from his youth painted as the perfect American man: A patriotic Christian who is fighting for his country.
And he does think of himself as an American. Not as
more of an American than his fellow countrymen, but he is very proud of the stars and stripes. He doesn't even care much about where his family originally came from as a lot of Americans do, because
this country is were he was born. That he does have a strong interest in Scotsmen is another matter...
None of this is meant to be negative by the way. Being American just means more to him than to most of the other Americans in the comic.
Though he wouldn't wrap himself in the flag any time soon. That's a bit too much even for him.

Just a comment, not criticism against the artist! (just making sure that's clear)
I love this!
Disregarding the fact that people seem to think everyone in American needs to be patriotic Christians or they're not real Americans (not saying you are entirely, but I get tired of hearing this BS about what people think Americans are or aren't... even other Americans...), I like this picture. Not because of it being all AMURIKA! or whatever, but because it's a good representation of 250. And the composition is laid out nicely. I like the light work in it.
I haven't commented on your work in a long time, or even visited your gallery. Came back tonight and looked at a bunch of things. Glad you're still truckin' along.
