GASP!! Original characters!

I was listening to a Danish song called ”Night Lamp” when Angeli first popped into my head, and apparently she liked my mind, because she stuck around.

She’s a powerful sorceress and a hopeless romantic by heart. She always has her eyes on some guy, but sadly she has a tendency to scare them away.

She wears cloth inspired by men’s clothing, but is not a transsexual by any means. Actually, she quite likes being a woman.

She has hundreds, maybe thousands of footmen of all ages, colors and sizes, and she always has at least one of them with her when she goes somewhere. Like her, they wear the cloth of the opposite gender, and like her, they are happy with their own sex. They never wear make-up, wigs, jewelery or anything else that would make people question their gender, so working for her is not a drag queen’s dream come true.

I have a very simple way of telling if I’ve drawn her footmen right: If people can’t tell what gender they are, I‘ve made them too feminine.

The thing Angeli is holding is usually used as a cane, but is in fact her magic wand.

Your artwork is great, and I know I am dating myself so badly here, but that particular trio of colors in those shades always calls to mind one thing and one thing only for me, which is Alvin and the Chipmunks. Not helped by the fact the woman's blond hair and roundish face reminds me of a combination of Elanor and Brittany from the Chipettes. This picture is so nice but unfortunately my mental dials are set. I wish I could turn them off so I could enjoy this better.
