Everyone buries people in the sand when they go to the beach, it's like a tradition, i personally like to be the one who gets buried cus then i don't have to dig the hole and the sand is nice and cool.

well usually when we dig deep holes it's to burry someone in the sand.. with their head sticking out of course. (but i think other people do that aswell.. don't they?)
and when it comes to stealing the signs.. well we don't have any moose and when we think of Skandinavia we think of Santa, snow, saunas and moose. so i guess they steal it as a souvenier. but as a responsible german when i visited sweden last year i bought one, i didn't steal it ;)

well im part german

so, i dig deep holes in the sand out of boredom or, if its windy (when its so windy that the sand is like a major whip) i'll dig a hole so that i can jump in it and enjoy the fact that the sand cant hurt me :D

yeah... im random and so are other germans :P i love your comics!!

There's two reasons we do it, I think. One, to give the kids something to do (because if you have kids you make/let them do it) and two, so nobody can jog too close to us or something spraying sand all over us.

:note to self- when going to germany as foren acshang studint make sure to vist sweden an go to an dutch beach: just to get a fell of my native calture :D
wait damn it ive been to sweden an i didnt get a "beware of moose sign!!!!" why couldnt i have seen this 4 years ago
