How most Scandinavians feel about the American healthcare system.
 In Scandinavia we pay for healthcare though our taxes, which means we all pay for each other, and nobody thinks twice about going to the doctor because we’ve already paid for it. We also have private care for those rich people who don't want to wait in line. But before you declare the American system “OMG!!! EVUL!!!”, remember that we Scandinavians also pay the highest taxes in the world. We up her like it the way it is, but you Americans will have to decide for yourself. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. Well if our healthcare system we're like yours I wouldn't have a problem. Obama wants to give it only to some though. It should be all or nothing.
Then again.. I do like money in my pocket and we have A LOT of freeloaders here who don't do anything to deserve more help.

I do think that we should have healthcare for everyone who needs/deserves it, but here's my thing: I don't like the fact that the government is trying to make everyone go on one, singular, government own healthcare system. Call me paranoid, but I just don't trust the government. It reminds me too much of 1984 as it is!
