A line-up of all the characters who has so far showed up in Love and Tentacles. In their civil cloth, of course.

I have another version on my computer that also has all the characters that will show up at some point, but I’m keeping that to myself. Instead I’ll just update this every time a new person enters the scene.

From left to right:
Mona: Frida’s co-worker at the office. Mona is not her real name, but something she decided to call herself because it sounded more sexy. She loves sex with humans, but still think Frida is crazy for actually starting a relationship with one.

Nick: Tom’s best friend. His family originally came from Turkey, but that was three generations ago, so Nick is in a grey zone where people from Turkey doesn’t think of him as a Turk, and people here think of him as a possible terrorist. That has resulted in a rather silly behaviour and a fear of being rejected by his friends. Two things that doesn’t always go hand in hand well. He has a thing for Tentaculas, and envy Tom his relationship with Frida.

Tom: A young mechanic, who found the love of his life in Frida. He truly cares about her, and wants her to be happy, but at the same time he has a hard time ignoring the weird looks he gets when he walks down the street with her.

Frida: She is much more open about her relationship with Tom than he is, but still doesn’t like to talk about it with her friends, because they always want to lecture her about what a bad choice she made by dating a human. She enjoys being around Tom’s mother, more than she enjoys being around her own.

Jane: Tom’s mother. She is okay with Tom dating a Tentacula, and does her best to understand Frida and her kind.

Filip: Frida’s ex-boyfriend. He is enough of a gentleman to be nice to Tom, and still has a friendly end relaxed relationship with Frida.

Rick: Tom’s co-worker, and best friends with Jeff. He finds it hilarious that Tom is dating a Tentacula, and use every possible opportunity to remind Tom of how weird he think it is.

Jeff: Tom’s co-worker, and best friends with Rick. Jeff doesn’t talk much, so nobody really knows how he fells about Tom and Frida’s relationship, but no matter what he thinks, he still aids Rick in his harassment of Tom.

This will start all-out war between humanity and tentaculas, reducing Earth's surface into ashen radioactive wastes. What's left of humanity will live under ground and tentaculas will either base their activities from the orbit or leave this crazy once-blue planet for good.
