Dramatic sketch are dramatic!

Some very quick sketches I did at work, and made a little prettier in Photoshop. I use some old paper texture for the background, but that bend going right through the NG/D sketch is from the actual paper I drew it on.

I’m afraid I’m not going to use Nazi Germany a whole lot in the comics, but I feel a strong need to draw him non the less.

The picture bottom left is how today’s Germany feels about Nazi Germany. Nazi Germany never loved anyone more than Germany, but Germany just want the evil bastard to die. He still suffers for what Nazi Germany did, and has to fight every day to convince people that he is nothing like his predecessor. But the bastard is not easy to kill and keeps popping up all over the place, so it looks like it will be a long time before Germany can step out of his shadow.

The other three pictures are supposed to symbolise the different ways countries could end up in Nazi Germany’s hands.

Poland got the crap beat out of him and then forcefully had a collar with the iron cross put around his neck.

Finland put it on himself, though he didn’t do it because he agreed with Nazi Germany, but because Russia was on the allied’s side, and if there was one country Finland didn’t want to help it was Russia, so he chose to help Nazi Germany beat Russia instead. (Stop telling me that Russia attacked Finland. I know)

Denmark had it put around his neck by Nazi Germany like a lover puts on a necklace, but didn’t do much to stop him or take it off.

Like I said, dramatic sketch are dramatic!

EDIT: Poland wears a mask because it's a common joke in the North that stuff that gets stolen always ends up in Poland.
