The dress made me think of a Disney princess because of the sleeve that made her arm look like a little wing, which in turn made me thing of the fairytale "The Glass Mountain". Not the version where the hero has to climb the mountain to pick an apple, but the one where he gets to the top of the mountain and has to do chores for the witch in order to save the princess, who for some reason can't escape despite being able to turn into a bird, and her sisters already flew away.
I got carried away with the whole pretty Disney Princess theme and made it a little too pretty, but I can't really be bothered. I had fun while it lasted.
Does it matter that they are missing an arm and a leg? Not in my book. I noticed it right away and it never regestered in my mind that they didn't look wonderful. If you noticed, this is the meaning behind the drawing. They are PERFECT just the way that they are. It really is a wonderful drawing Humon. It makes me think of my brother who is disabled and how I feel I wouldn't change who he is for the world!
