I have heard so many stories about him, yet I can't find anything on the internet, so if I am breaking some secret "only by word of mouth" rule about him, I'm sorry.
He is an urban myth and is a sort of Spring Heeled Jack creature, but with enough differences to make him his own. He is known as either Tag Vandren (Roof Walker) Tag Kravleren (Roof Crawler) or Tag Hopper (Roof Jumper). As all the names suggest he spends a lot of time on roofs, but he is actually just very reluctant to touch the ground, so trees, fences, cars, big rocks, and anything else will do.
He is described as being handsome but has clawed hands which he uses to climb walls and glowing orange dog eyes and no eyebrows. He dress in black, and according to some stories he has ink-black skin as well.
The first time he was seen is said to be by a man who was staying up late when most people were asleep. He looked out the window of his apartment building at the opposite building and saw a man walking around on the roof. He thought is was strange and kept looking until the person suddenly seemed to be staring right back at him. The man looked away, embarrassed that he had been caught, but couldn't help himself and looked again, just in time to see the person leap off the roof and land on his window border with a loud bang! The Roof Walker looked at him with his animalistic, orange eyes and the man got so frightened he ran out of the room and hid in one that had no windows. He didn't see the Roof Walker again.
The stories are usually about him chasing people who are walking alone at night, jumping from roof to roof, street light to street light, or running along fences.
In one story he was chasing a group of teenagers who noticed that he wouldn't touch the ground so they ran into a football field. It turned out to be a mistake, because he leaped 10 meters and landed on one of the boys who's back broke from the force, then onto one of the other boys who just fell over, and then jumped into the dark and disappeared.
Finally he is blamed for some construction workers who fell to their deaths.
I drew him in different ways here because the stories doesn't tell a whole lot about his looks, and since I haven't seen any other drawings of him I didn't want people to think there's only one way to draw him.
Edit: Forgot to mention that he grabs people who sit next to open windows and tries to pull them out, even if the window is too small for a human which can cause serious wounds and broken bones.
I showed this to my husbands, his response was. "He could just want some one to play with. you know a jumper buddy. His misunderstood." I can't. i just.....
Okay so first I was just thinking that he was cool and I dunno maybe he wanted a friend and I'd probably just stand still and hope he didn't jump on me, but then we get the dragging people out of windows and just nope.
And it made me rush throug my apartment (4th floor) to close all windows XD
