I started out as I huge Yaoi fan, but then I realized that I really hate it when the bottom looks like a girl. I mean, ew.

Just by looking at the mere origins... Yaoi is "boys love" genre written to reach the female audience (mostly)... I'm (usually) a female but i just can't stand it, it's just too... Unreal.. empty... sparkly... Far from what real love is.

, Unless you have a problem with Yaoi being actually written for a Female Audience (It's stated by authors in the Genre definition) or me thinking that it's Unreal, Empty, too sparkly and far from what real gay guys, their relationships and sexual intercourse are, also for going against it because it have driven girls to harass gay guys in the local Con.

I feel in the mood of recomending you Bara, another "boys love" genre, equivalent to Josei for Shojo and Seinen for Shonen. More mature and more Realistic, not as flashy nor unreal as yaoi is.

I don't mind gay because it looks good. It's yaoi that I have extreme trouble with. Fangirls make the guys look like bishies instead of how gay men are in real life. Plus, I like how more realistic the first one is.
